Inspiration

Douglas Engelbart is an internet pioneer and invented the computer mouse, hypertext, and so on. He recieved the U.S. patent for the computer mouse.

Ted Nelson is a sociologist, philosopher and a pioneer of information technology.
“A user interface should be so simple that a beginner in an emergency can understand it within ten seconds.”
This is one of his famous quotes and he launched "Project Xanadu" in 1960, for the purpose of creating a simple system in computer networks. He devoted most of his life to this project, however, the project xanadu didn't work well.

Both of them were great inspired by "As We May Think" by Vannevar Bush. They read this article and it worked as a media of creating an idea of hypertext.

I cannot imagine how Vannevar Bush predicted and got an idea of memex. But thanks for him, now we have such convenient lives!
